For Lawyers
Only If you are not a lawyer but clicked
here by mistake or were curious you will receive an electric shock if you do
not leave this file within ten seconds. Okay, so what did you think of my
WWW Site? I would hazard to guess that most visitors to lawyer home pages are
other lawyers looking for ideas and precedents for their own site. Besides
friends and relatives forced to visit the site perhaps there are even some
prospective clients - who knows. If you like or dislike what I
have written and especially if you have copied any of my ideas, I would ask
that you do one or a combination of five things. First, you can give me
credit for the idea - I know it is hard for a lawyer to give someone else
credit - but try it - it will be good for you. Secondly, you could give me
your opinion of what I have produced. It is okay to give constructive
criticism - I have a thick skin - after all I am a lawyer. Being critical
should not be difficult for a lawyer. As you can see I personally think that
most lawyer WEB Sites are far too serious and are B O R I N G . I have
attempted to add some humour to accompany a lot of informative and practical
material for prospective clients. Thirdly, you can send me suggestions for
legal resources on the WEB. Fourthly, you can send me any agency work for my
areas of law that you may have in the Ottawa area. I realize not too many
people (especially doctors) often move from British Columbia or Texas to
Ottawa so I will not hold my breath for those referrals. Lastly, if you copy
an idea of mine you can send me money. Think of it like Shareware. I know as
lawyers you always send in that Shareware fee. Do not worry I am really not
holding my breath on that one either. Please review my article titled Marketing,
